​Hello, My name is Marie Tengren-Knight and I love to play with earth, stone, ore & fire....

...& I design Earth inspired statement jewelry for the Ancient Ones - the rebels, mystics, wanderers, artists, rock n' roll hearts, wild bohemian spirits & veil walkers​. I'm the Designer, Metalsmith & Alchemist behind my 3 lines of jewelry - Athene Noctua Studio, Blackbird & Sage & Lotus Moon Atelier. Each line specifically created to embody a distinct aspect of our souls's expression - ranging from the simple & serene to ancient deep-rooted ritual. I have been designing jewelry in one form or another full-time since 2015.

Jewelry is, to me, an ancient powerful amulet, an inspiration, a reminder, a token, a talisman. For centuries jewelry has been a symbol of protection; a type of armor. These amulets serve as a reminder of our true nature & help us manifest the power that already resides within us.

In the studio, organic colors, raw materials, & mixed metals are combined with intention, to create soul-stirring energetic pieces that inspire us to embrace our potential.

Drawing inspiration from traditional metalwork, dreams, travel, and contemplation of the Infinite - ancient hand-forging techniques create soulful adornments that champion individuality & self-expression. These pieces are a testament to the vast power within each of us & call us to forge our authentic paths in life.

My work as a metalsmith is deeply rooted in ancient rituals & traditional techniques. Transforming through fire & alchemy, sacred symbolism, earth & metal, crystal & gemstone, I craft wearable art imbued with an ancient mystical essence. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted, engraved, oxidized, and polished to create a timeless, unique work of art for you to love for years to come.
